The Oregon Supreme Court recently decided to allow paralegals in specific practice fields who met specific qualifications to be admitted to the Oregon State Bar authorizing them to perform some limited-scope legal tasks previously available only from lawyers. This is similar to nurse-practitioners in the medical field. This provides more options for affordable legal services. 

At this time, we only do family law. We do not cover adoptions, third party custody, military, DHS involvement or highly contested matters. We are happy to review your situation to see if we are a right fit. If we aren't, we can refer you to who is. 

Not every situation is a difficult nasty mess. Sometimes people just want someone to get the paperwork completed and filed right, guide them on how to best represent themselves or have experienced knowledge to help them negotiate a fair resolution. Using a licensed paralegal offers flexibility for your needs without making it a big (and expensive) battle. With 20+ years of experience our LP has managed legal offices ranging from sole practitioners to large firms, trained new attorneys and paralegals in the practice of family law and assisted many self-represented litigants in ensuring their paperwork is completed and filed correctly.

Consultations are $150 for one hour. This is to provide a quality assessment of your situation and a clear direction of how you should best proceed.  

The technology advancements in the legal field have allowed for the practice of law to be handled almost entirely virtually. Our consultations and client meetings are done by telephone or video chat depending on the client's preference. In-person meetings are available upon request.
